Perhaps more important than this, is the importance of creating and maintaining positive images and expectations of our own client’s abilities to create and maintain change. The failure to do this within ourselves is likely to have consequences for our clients, if not directly, than indirectly, reducing our effectiveness with our clients and even more importantly our clients’ effectiveness in their lives.
Clearly, some of our work with our clients is about creating a space within which our clients can simply adopt the positive energy that we have of them and what they can do, allowing them to flourish. This isn’t always enough, and at times we’ll have to do more than just this, but that’s okay, but it’s great when it happens. Be well
